| November 13, 2018 3:00 AM

Anthony Glenn Ingrum was born July 16, 1960, in Whitefish. He passed away Nov. 10, 2018, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. His parents Billy Ingrum and Rosalie Johnson raised him with his three siblings in Libby. He developed a great love of the outdoors and often would spend time backpacking in the beautiful Cabinet Mountains with friends, hunting and fishing.

He pursued all sports in high school and continued his education at the University of Montana in Missoula. It was here he followed his passion for Grizzly football and basketball that followed him through his life.

After finishing his degree in business marketing he had short stints in Denver and San Francisco before moving back to the Spokane area to be closer to his Montana roots. It was here he met his wife Sandee and her five-year-old daughter Andrea. They married on Sept. 16, 1989, and Glenn found the job that carried him to his retirement. He spent 24 years in the pharmaceutical industry.

Glenn was preceded in death by his father Billy Ingrum. He is survived by his mother Rosalie Ingrum of Libby; his wife Sandee and daughter Andrea Wagner; his sisters Lisa Stancher of Whitefish and Lynn Melton of Norman, Oklahoma; and brother Rod Ingrum of Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Glenn has often been described as “the nicest guy I’ve ever met.” He remained hopeful and optimistic throughout his illness. Glenn was sweet, kind and had quick wit that always brought a smile or laugh. The support of family and friends throughout was of great comfort and showed how loved he was by many.
