Danette Christine Fisher

Danette Christine Fisher, 58, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 4, 2018 in her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Her courage and her strength to fight was a reflection of her loyalty, dedication and love for her family and her zest for life. She was born Nov. 27, 1959 in Libby to Lewis and Laura Meyer. She attended Troy High School. She married Phillip H. Fisher on June 30, 1979 in Troy, where they lived and raised four children.

Danette was a woman of boundless energy, strength and courage. She believed intensely in the importance of family and devoted herself to keeping a home full of love and laughter. Danette enjoyed the simple things in life such as watching her garden grow, grandkids playing on the lawn, and listening to the sounds of her chimes ring in the cool spring air. Her hobbies included making beautiful quilts as well as enjoying the outdoors through hunting, fishing and adoring her roses.

Danette possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the hearts of many. Her gift of joy was shown through her smile, laughter, and joking around and it will never be forgotten. There is no doubt that Danette was a courageous fighter who was fiercely strong.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Phillip, of Troy; her two daughters, Dondi and Danel, both of Kalispell; her two sons, Lewis of Kalispell and Ben of Troy; her 17 grandchildren; and her one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Lewis and Laura; and two brothers, Donny and Dana.

Private memorial services will be held with friends and family.
