Charles Norman Ekstedt, Sr., 65, of Libby died March 18, 2018. Chuck was born on the family homestead up the Vermillion on June 11, 1952 to Clancy and Emma Lou Ekstedt.

Chuck’s two greatest joys in life were his friends and the great outdoors. Depending on the time of the year you could always find him in the huckleberry patch, the mushroom patch or the firewood patch — often with a friend by his side.

Chuck is preceded in death by parents Clancy and Emma Ekstedt and brother Forrest Ekstedt.

Chuck is survived by brothers Carl, Don and Tim Ekstedt; sister Evonne Sizemore; sons Chuck, Jr. and Kevin Ekstedt; daughter Shauna Livingston; grandchildren Michael, Paul, Riley, Shelby, Taylor and Tyler; great-grandson Paul; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
