'Special Education Teacher of the Year' is from Troy

Troy Public Schools teacher Christina Schertel was recognized in Missoula on March 1 as Special Education Teacher of the Year by the Montana Council for Exceptional Children. Troy Superintendent Jacob Francom said that Schertel is always trying to find a way to help each student succeed, and that it is an honor to have her as a teacher and an administrator.
