Two nursing students from Flathead Valley Community College in Libby are finishing up their education at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center.

The students, set to graduate in August, will rotate through the emergency, acute care and surgery departments as part of their advanced acute care clinical education, a news release states.

The students are among the first four in the community college’s registered nurse program, which was added last fall. The nursing program began altogether in 2016, with the addition of a licensed practical nurse program.

“These courses are offered via distance delivery with clinical experience in the healthcare facilities in Libby,” the news release states.
