Bull Lake Storage

Michael Dunn and Tracy Nicely have opened Bull Lake Storage at 9690 Bull Lake Rd. in Troy.

The facility, which Dunn will manage, features 10 feet by 20 feet self-storage units at a cost of $70 a month. Dunn noted that each unit offers 2,000 cubic feet of storage — at a height of 12 feet in front and 8 feet in back — and features “extra heavy construction” able to withstand high winds and a snow load of 125 pounds.

Dunn said because they run the Nicely-Dunn Real Estate office in front of the storage facility, snow plowing will be provided in winter and there will be someone on premises during business hours, including 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Dunn said he found working with the state easy both to start the new business and to build the commercial structure.
