Area homeowners on a restricted income may qualify for home repair assistance from Kootenai Valley Partners? Habitat for Humanity this summer.

Applications will be available starting Feb. 1 at the Lincoln County Library, Senior Citizen’s Center and Food Pantry in both Libby and Troy. Applications are due to KVPHH by March 1.

Applicants must be homeowners — not renters — and have work they can not complete themselves for either financial or physical reasons. Habitat volunteers provide labor and homeowners pay only for materials, unless a contractor is needed. Homeowners who qualify are eligible of a no-interest loan.

KVPHH volunteers build houses in odd number years, assisting with home repairs in even numbered years.
