Florence Drowatzky

Florence Drowatzky passed away Jan. 20, 2018 at her home in Pablo, surrounded by family and friends. She was born Oct. 4, 1937 in Kalispell, to Delos and Margaret Norquay Good. Florence moved to the Bull Lake area as a young child and attended Troy schools. She married Jack Drowatzky in 1952 in Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho.

Florence and Jack lived in Troy and Libby and in Eugene, Oregon. They made one sojourn to Florida. For the last 2O years Florence made her home in the Ronan/Pablo area, Florence worked and cooked in many local restaurants. She also enjoyed many years as a school bus driver.

Florence enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, knitting and bead work, as well as keeping up with friends and family. After being confined to her home she spent many hours on the phone visiting with them.

Florence was preceded in death by her father Delos Good and her mother and step-father, Margaret and Louis Rhoades; her brothers Gerald Good and Joseph Good; and her sisters Ellen Munyan and Louise Hopkins.

Florence is survived by her best friend and companion of 65 years, Jack Drowatzky; her daughter Linda Brown, of Pablo; her sons Leon Drowatzky of Washington and Joe Drowatzky of Maine; her brother Dale Good, of Potlach, Idaho; her sisters Ruby Stapley (Norman) of Troy, Margaret (Louie) Partney of Marshfield, Missouri, and Lucille (Miles) Briggs of Libby; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A viewing was held at Fosters in St. Ignatius at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018. A family service will be held at the Milnor Lake Cemetery in Troy in Spring 2018.
