Polson sneaks by Loggers in double OT, 65-63

LIBBY — Shade Main poured in 27 points, including 19 in the second half and overtime, to lead Polson as it edged Libby in double overtime.

Main’s big day helped the Pirates overcome the feisty Loggers, who received 22 points from Ryggs Johnston and 16 from JJ Davis in the back-and-forth affair.

Connor Lanier added 12 points for Polson, while Weston Danley scored 11.

Keith Johnson was Libby’s only other double-digit scorer with 11.

Polson, which trailed by four at halftime after a disastrous second quarter, forced overtime by outscoring Libby 14-7 in the fourth.
