Sherry Lee Davis
Sherry Lee Davis, 75, of Troy passed away at Brendan House in Kalispell Friday, Dec. 29, 2018 with her husband and children around her. She left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born in Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho on Sept. 17, 1942 to Jack and Betty Wilson.
Sherry met Jerry Davis on a blind date in Great Falls. They were married 53 years. She is best known for her faith in God, hospitality, encouraging words and humor. She was creative and artistic, too. Most of her life she taught children’s Bible lessons at Sunday school, VBS, camps and home Bible clubs through stories, lessons, clowning, puppetry and skits. She loved people and was well-loved by them.
Sherry was survived by her loving husband Gerald W. Davis (Jerry) of Troy; children Sally Young of Troy, Jackie Potter (Gary) of Coos Bay, Oregon, Larry Davis (Shawneen) of Troy, Penny Davis of Whitefish, Terry Kampfe of Troy and Gerald W Davis II (Guy) of Billings; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 3, 2018 at Troy High School auditorium. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby.
