After losing an eight point lead they held at the half, the Loggers overcame a Wilcats comeback in overtime on Thursday, Feb. 1.

After nearly two quarters of close play during which Columbia Falls mostly led, the Libby High School boys basketball team pulled out in front by the end of the second quarter. But in the third quarter, the Wildcats brought the game even again.

The remainder of the game saw the teams trading off the lead, and in the final minutes the Wildcats had the advantage. Yet, the Loggers turned it around, putting the game into overtime before the buzzer.

The Libby boys then went on to establish a firm lead in overtime, carrying it through for the win.
