The Kootenai Kiwanis met Tuesday to elect new officers. Wishing the community a Merry Christmas, the new officers are: Donna Hall, president, Jean Steele, vice president, Trina Kerzman, secretary, Irene Loveless, treasurer and Bri Hiyler, advertising/marketing. For more information or to get involved with activities benefitting Lincoln County’s children, anyone from Lincoln County is welcome to attend their meetings at noon on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Venture Inn. The next meeting will be Tuesday, Jan. 11. The club and information can also be found on Facebook by searching “Kootenai Kiwanis.” Active in supporting the community and its children since 1976, the Kootenai Kiwanis are one of over 40 Kiwanis Clubs in Montana.
