Curtiss Wayne Fairbrother

Curtiss Wayne Fairbrother, 50, died on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018 in Libby. He was born on April 4, 1968, in Dansville, New York, to Larry Fairbrother and Melissa Drake.

Curtiss loved to relax and read all kinds of books on hunting, fishing and gardening. He wasn’t able to go out and hike in the woods, but he talked about what he would do if he could. He loved being a grandpa, playing and showing his grandkids animals, bugs and telling them stories.

Survivors include his father, Larry Fairbrother (Sherry), of Libby; his mother, Melissa Drake, of Bath, New York; his children, Stephanie Fairbrother, of Libby, and Gunnar Fairbrother; his two brothers, Shannon Fairbrother (Rebecca) and Ethan Fairbrother (Christina); and his grandchildren, Arianna James, Teeanna James, Bentley James and Jesse James.
