Crowning of 2018 Libby Nordicfest Royalty

Brent and Dee Teske were crowned Nordicfest King and Queen. Brent, who is mayor of Libby and director of the Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency, is a Navy veteran and a former Libby police officer. He is a member of veterans organizations and a volunteer with Dave Thompson Search and Rescue. Dee works for Montana Youth Court Services and volunteers with multiple organizations, including fundraisers, foundations and social gatherings.

The 2018 Libby Nordicfest Heritage Festival royalty were crowned at Sons of Norway April 14, with 98-year old Barbara Tripp named 2018 parade marshal. Former Nordicfest royalty Caleb Thomas and Jasmin Snyder each helped to crown their own sibling, Bethany Thomas and Allie Snyder, as the 2018 Nordicfest Princesses. At the culmination, Brent and Dee Teske were crowned Nordicfest King and Queen. Between crownings, Dan Howard, Sons of Norway president, entertained with songs and jokes.
