Alicia O. Coats

Alicia O. Coats, 74, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017, in her home in Troy. She was born May 14, 1943 on the Hawaiian island Oahu to Auria and Andres Bicoy, Sr. She married James W. Coats on May 24, 1963 in Hawaii. Together they had three beautiful daughters. They divorced before his passing in 2004.

Alicia enjoyed many things, including cooking, gardening, laughing with friends and spending time with her grandchildren and her pets. Even though she recently lived in town, she always had veggies and flowers in her yard to help her stay busy. Her most recent love was working at the thrift store in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Alicia was predeceased by her parents Auria and Andres Bicoy, Sr., her sister Mary Cunningham and her brother Andres Bicoy, Jr.

Survivors include daughters Leilani Coats (Samuel) Caldwell of Puyallup, Washington; MaryAnn (Jeffery) Gromley of Troy; Roseline Coats (Rafael Cruz) of Renton, Washington; her sister Andrea O’Hara of Struthers, Ohio; and her six grandchildren: Sabrina Coats-Passmore, James Caldwell, Ashely, Tyler, Matthew and Jacob Gromley.
