Libby (11-0, 8-0) continues to roll right along, stopping Columbia Falls 25-18, 25-16, 25-22 in a Northwest A contest on Thursday.

Brooklyn Rainer led Libby’s strong net game with 14 kills. Jayden Winslow and Mehki Sykes were next with eight each and Emily Mossburg with seven.

Winslow was also the dig leader with 19, followed by Emma Gruber — “an outstanding saver,” Ostrem-Johnston said — with 18.

Alli Collins had 34 of Libby’s 37 assists.

“It was a fun match (with) lots of energy,” Libby coach Cindy Ostrem-Johnston said.

“Columbia Falls gave us a pretty good fight. They put up some tough blocks, had a tough server. All of my players contributed well tonight ... a team effort — back row, front row setter. I’m proud of the way they played.”

Ostrem-Johnston also praised Libby’s “awesome” student section.
