Through the end of November, the Town Pump Charitable Foundation will match every dollar — up to $4,000 — collected by organizations participating in the foundation’s annual food bank fundraising program.

Matching funds will apply toward monies collected since Sept. 1.

“Since 2002, Montana food banks have received more than $24 million, including Town Pump Charitable Foundation matching funds of $4.6 million, from the ‘Be A Friend in Deed, Helping Those In Need’ campaign,” a news release states.

Every dollar collected, including the matching funds. “are for (Libby Food Pantry) to use exclusively in your community,” the news release states. “There are no other requirements or restrictions on the funds.”

The Town Pump Charitable Foundation has committed $500,000 in matching funds for this year’s campaign.
