Obituary: Michael Dean Rogers

Michael Dean Rogers, 58, of Libby passed away Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He was born March 26, 1959 in Escondido, California to Ellery and Betty (Barrick) Rogers.

On Nov. 8, 2017, Michael Dean Rogers officially won. He died with the most toys. Let it be known that he did not lose his battle with cancer because Michael never loses, ever. An eternity in heaven is the ultimate win; he just wanted to take the most challenging path to get there. That was Michael, a brilliant mind always needing to be challenged. Michael leaves behind a frustrated wife, Ruth Rogers, and daughter, Jenny Chouwanto, who now have to figure out what to do with all those darn toys.

Services were held 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 at Libby Christian Church. The family requests that memorials be made to the Libby Christian Church Food Pantry.
