Sgt. Bergdahl deserved jail time

| November 7, 2017 3:00 AM

The day Sgt. Bergdahl arrived back in the United States, his uniform should have been exchanged for prison garb and put into solitary confinement instead of being paraded around the White House as a hero by Obama. At the trial, he should have been in the prison garb and shackles instead of his uniform.

He gets off with no jail time, loss of uniform and dishonorable discharge. He should have at least gotten the minimal 17 years. What in the hell is the matter with that judge? The five terrorists that were exchanged for him went right back to where they came from and back to more killing of innocent people. I guess Obama didn’t think about that.

That does not sit well with me as a proud American and Navy veteran nor does it with the brave and loyal servicemen who were shot and maimed trying to find him or the military men and women now serving as well as all proud Americans.
