Hunter education class starts May 31 in Libby

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks has scheduled a hunter education class in Libby, the agency announced Tuesday.

Class is from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. beginning Wednesday, May 31 at Libby Elementary School and continuing June 5-8 and June 12-15, a news release states. The class is free.

The class is required of anyone born after January 1, 1985 who wants to buy a hunting license in Montana. The minimum age to attend is 10.

Students must register online at fwp.mt.gov. (Click “education,” then click “hunter education.”)
