Coalition key to Libby's economic future

It feels to me that Libby and Lincoln County are about to turn the corner from what’s been a nightmare scenario.
On top of the asbestos disaster and environmental and economic downturns, the honored heritage of logging, lumber and mining have all but disappeared. It’s time for Libby to reinvent itself.
I see a future of economic upturn through an industry of outdoor recreation balanced with responsible logging and mining again.
I recently was introduced to the Kootenai Forest Stakeholders Coalition.
These folks have some great ideas and plans for the future of this area.
I want to encourage anyone and everyone who cares about Libby’s future to check them out.
