Thank you Libby

| May 12, 2017 4:00 AM

I would like to thank the people of Libby for allowing me to serve you for the last five years. I set out five years ago to help clean up some of the corruption. We did just that.

I did not do this alone. I would like to thank some of the good citizens of Libby that were also drug through the mud by family, friends and churches: Arlen Mcgill, DC Orr, Rob Hubbard and Tammy Brown to name a few. We stuck it out, and removed many self-serving council people, a rogue mayor and several shady attorneys. Most, but not all, are gone.

They did not do this alone they had a lot of help from local newspaper and radio station, that help hide and continuously lied to the public about the wrongdoings. This will not change.

The people of Libby have learned, that they as citizens can take any elected official to task for their wrongdoings.

Everyone in this valley has to see the positive changes that have taken place, since we have rid these people from office. There will always be some that don’t want the change for personal reasons.

We have a good and honest mayor, first one since Mayor Fred Brown, and a few good council members.

I feel my job is done, I want to see another person with new and fresh ideas come to the council. I also am a single father of an almost 5-year-old, with next to nothing for help. It is time for me to tend to my son and my 20th year in business.

Thank you again for allowing me to serve you.
