Help your co-op spread the wood chips

Flathead Electric tree crews are running short on places to dispose of wood chips and are in the process of updating a “chip list” for members.

Requirements include good dump truck access and no overhead power lines that might conflict with raising a dump truck. The area must also be cleared of snow and have solid ground underneath. Crews, who’ve been trimming trees in the Kalispell area recently due to limited access in rural areas, prefer to unload near current job sites to minimize the haul distance and time, and a minimum of one load (approximately 15 cubic yards) would be required for delivery.
