Cabinet Peaks CEO Bruce Whitfield earns fellowship

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center CEO Bruce Whitfield recently became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare, the nation’s leading professional society for healthcare leaders, according to a news release.

American College of Healthcare “is an international professional society of more than 40,000 healthcare executives who lead our nation’s hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations,” the news release states, noting that only 9,100 healthcare executives nationally hold this distinction.

Fellow candidates must pass a comprehensive examination, meet academic and experiential criteria, earn continuing education credits and demonstrate professional and community involvement, the news release states. Fellows must recertify every three years.
