Robert William Langton, 80, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 in Kalispell. He was born October 24, 1936 in Bonners Ferry, Idaho to Roy and Pearl (Unruh) Langton. He spent his early years with his parents and was schooled in Napa, Idaho and Boulder, Montana, returning to his parents in Rathdrum.

Bob spent many years in Rathdrum. He moved to Libby, entering The Achievement Program. He worked at the Thrift Store. He loved to go camping and went on many trips with all his friends. Thank you to all the staff at Achievements. He moved to Kalispell to Brendan House Assisted Living after breaking a hip in July 2016. He was very happy at Brendan House teasing the staff and all of his new friends. Thank you to the Staff at Brendan House for his wonderful care.

Bob was a gift to our family and taught us the true meaning of unconditional love and you can do anything if you put your mind, love and sense of humor to work, along with that winning smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Pearl Langton, sisters Dorothy Holmes, Annabelle Brown and Evelyn Bradeen, and brother Tom Langton. Bob is survived by his brothers Truman Langton (Veronica) and Ivan Langton (Alice) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted by long time pastor and friend Gene Bushnell 1 p.m. June 17, 2017 at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home at 422 W. Second St, Libby, MT 59923. A reception will follow the location to be announced.
