Charles 'Loyd' Wohlcke

Charles “Loyd” Wohlcke, 59, of Libby passed away July 7, 2017 at Kalispell Regional Hospital. He was born April 2, 1958 in Pendleton, Oregon to Charles and Larene Wohlcke. He was raised there, graduating from Pendleton High School in 1976 and marrying Debra Rae Donald in 1985. They were married for 24 years.

Charles cooked Wednesday nights at Libby Baptist Church and at International Messengers. He enjoyed his morning workout and coffee with friends at Montana Athletic Club. His hobbies and interests included fishing, cooking, music, movies and especially his grandchildren, with whom he loved spending time.

Charles is survived by wife Debra Rae Donald; son Rick Lundell of Coos Bay, Oregon and son-in-law Edward Hayden of Libby; daughter Raelene Hayden of Libby; brother Van Wohlcke of Hermiston, Oregon; sister Debbie Mulder of Pilot Rock, Oregon; and grandsons Kristopher Lundell, Raiven Loyd Mathiason, Fox William Hayden and granddaughter Aspen Rae Hayden.

Charles was preceded in death by his brother Rod Wohlcke.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at Libby Baptist Church at 105 E. Cedar St. in Libby. He will be buried in Pendleton, Oregon.
