VFW holding fundraiser for missionary work

VFW Post No. 1548 will hold a pulled-pork dinner and silent auction 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 22 to support a Libby woman’s upcoming mission.

Jasmine Allen will head to Manchester, England in mid-August for a year as part of Young Adults in Global Mission, a program of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Allen will work in St. Chrysostom’s Catholic Church and do community outreach.
