Thompson Chain of Lakes ice fishing derby raises over $10,000
Fisher River Fire/Rescue Auxiliary winter ice fishing derby took place on Thompson Chain of Lakes on Jan. 28 and 29.
The derby had 80 event sponsors and donors, with a total cash donation of $9,712 and they raised $2758 from ticket sales. The money raised goes toward the Fisher River Volunteer Fire Department. Of the people who registered for the derby, there were 394 adults and 52 children.
Adult Category Payouts: first place was $591, second place was $413.70 and third place was $177.30.
