CPMC welcomes new revenue cycle manager

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is thrilled to welcome Karen Dinkins as the Revenue Cycle Manager!

Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Ag Econ from Washington State University. She comes to CPMC with 26 years of revenue cycle and healthcare experience. She will be managing the Admissions and Business Office departments at Cabinet Peaks.

Before moving to Libby Karen worked at Skagit Regional Health in Mount Vernon, Washington as the Manager Provider Compensation and Financial Analyst and as the Business Officer Manager for approximately 140 providers. She has also worked as a consultant in all aspects of revenue cycle, system implementation, and process improvement.

Karen plans to dig right in and get to work! “I am looking forward to working with the existing Admissions department and Business Office team to reduce the accounts receivable days and implement process improvement with the successful implementation of Meditech 6.15,” she stated.

Brigid Burke, Chief Financial Officer at Cabinet Peaks welcomes Karen to the medical center and the community. “We are excited to welcome Karen to Cabinet Peaks. Her knowledge, experience, and enterprising sprit will help lead our team to many future successes. She has already hit the ground running.”

Karen moved to Libby with her husband of 30 years, John and their 3 cats.
