Libby Dam update

Libby Dam outflows increased today, 17 January, from 6 kcfs to 10 kcfs over three hours starting at 0500 MST. Flows will decrease tomorrow, 18 January, to 6 kcfs over six hours starting at 1800 MST. These flows are to target the flood risk management elevation of 2396.2 feet, set by the January Water Supply Forecast of 6.86 MAF.

• Current Koocanusa Reservoir elevation: 2398.6 feet

• Current Koocanusa Reservoir inflow: ~3 kcfs

• Current Libby Dam outflow: 10 kcfs

• Current Kootenai River elevation at Bonners Ferry: 1746.1 feet
