J.T. Hodges, Erik Dylan to Headline Big Sky Bash
The CARD Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce country music stars J.T. Hodges and Erik Dylan have been booked for the annual Big Sky Bash concert to benefit Libby’s Center for Asbestos Related Diseases. The concert is scheduled for July 8, 2017 at the J. Neils Park.
“The Big Sky Bash is more than just a fundraising concert,” said CARD Foundation board president Zach McNew. “It’s also a way for us to show our community how much we appreciate them and their support of the clinic’s efforts. This really is an event that brings our entire community together in celebration and we’re thrilled to be able to put it on year after year.”
J.T. Hodges is a native of Fort Worth, Texas, where he grew up in the music world at his father’s studio, Jim Hodges Buffalo Sound. His mother, Marsha, who Hodges says can still out-sing him by a mile, passed on a record deal with MCA to pursue motherhood. Music is in his blood, and he brings every bit of his talent along with his Texas-sized personality and attitude to all of his performances.
“The journey continues to be amazing and that’s what it is all about,” Hodges said. “Making music, the kind that is true to me, is all that I want to do.”
Joining Hodges is special guest Erik Dylan, a fifth-generation Kansas farmer who was discovered at an open mic night in Nashville. Dylan started writing songs with Kip Moore, songs that have been recorded by Eric Paslay, Thompson Square, Chad Brownlee, Justin Moore, and Hinder. He’s also shared the stage with artists from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Luke Bryan.
