Raymond Winebark

Raymond Park Winebark, age 49, of Moyie Springs, Idaho, passed away on Tuesday (Jan. 3, 2017) after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born Dec. 24, 1967 in Punxsutawney, Pa. to Tom and Sue (Hoover) Winebark, Ray moved with his family to Troy in 1979, where he graduated high school in 1986. Shortly after graduating high school, Ray met the love of his life, Theresa Winebark (Farabee) and the two were married Feb. 14, 1988 in Libby.

Ray worked as a diesel mechanic at Meads Equipment in Bonners Ferry, Idaho for a number of years, then the Genesis Mine in Troy, before taking a job at Elk Mountain Farms, Bonners Ferry, Idaho, shortly before his illness. He was a true lover of the outdoors, a hiker, hunter and an avid and expert fisherman. He was always willing to pass on his passion and knowledge to anyone who shared his interests. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, a devoted brother and son and a loyal friend to many. His devotion to his family and friends was evident at all times, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Theresa, of Moyie Springs, Idaho; his sons Ryan and Clayton Winebark, his daughter Katelyn Twigg (Winebark), her husband Aaron Twigg, and her children Kashus, Bullvie and Phoenix. Also surviving Raymond are his parents, Tom and Sue Winebark of Troy; his brothers, Dave Winebark, wife Carla Winebark of Rio Rancho, N.M, Fred Winebark, wife Courtney, of Troy; and his sisters Debbie Cook (Winebark), husband Doug Cook of Kooskia, Idaho and Terrie Palmer (Winebark), husband Mark Palmer, of Kalispell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, brother and sister-in-laws, and countless extended family, all of whom he loved and cared for deeply.
