Dorothy I. Bucci

Dorothy I. Bucci, 83, of Troy, has gone to be with her husband on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017 at Libby Care Center. She was born on Jan. 27, 1933 at Brooklyn, New York to John and Mabel (Price) Gorsuch.

Dorothy married Raymond Bucci on Friday the 13th in April of 1950. She enjoyed volunteering the Troy Senior Citizen Center and the Troy United Methodist Church. She was proud of the fact that she was born in Brooklyn.

Survivors include her four children Denise Whedon (Don), Donna Rugani, both of Troy; Diana Taylor (Tony), Nevada; and Darlene Smith, Troy; a sister Gloria Helbling (Paul), Pennsylvania; two brothers Joe and Jimmy Bucci of Pennsylvania; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private family services are being held. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Support Group in Libby. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
