The ugly truth behind “fake news”

| January 3, 2017 11:03 AM

Government sponsored and politically correct big media are again pushing their “information dominance” practices once again seeking to control the publics perceptions of national political, social and economic struggles. Instead of taking responsibility for flawed representation, flawed policy, flawed individuals (both in elected offices and within US agencies as well as other complicit supporting publicly active influences whose agendas are not necessarily in the public’s best interest), these aristocratic bureaucrats manipulate the entire information stream to create an atmosphere most congenial to their aims.

The latest attack on private media or as some call it: “alternative news”, calling it “fake news” is an enormously hypocritical and malicious assertion. The system at large will protect itself, right or wrong. Interestingly Lenin, Hitler and Stalin all erected the same type of policies during their reigns of terror.

I would be the first to boldly confirm that there are alternative news sites which are full of hype, misdirection, inaccuracies and self-appointed agendas. However, major media has been slanting the news for over 150 years in America which has been proven many times. Slanting or contriving a perceived outcome doesn’t have to be orchestrated with lies; you simply withhold the entire truth, therefore, leaving the hearer without all the information needed to make an intelligent assessment.

Information dominance is not a new topic as it has been practiced for centuries by governments, armies and political parties. The best way to dissect the news and extrapolate the truth is the same way our Naval Intelligence does: historical reference and actionable intelligence. Too many people rely on corporate media for truth when there is little truth to be found there.

Nothing of any major consequence happens over-night or instantaneously as there are always actions and actors involved which leads to a contrived outcome and/or the consequences of immoral or perhaps imprudent decisions. Thus, there is always a train of events (history) leading up to the situation or condition.

The system at large will always protect itself, regardless of who is in control; hence, the need to suppress the opposition’s information, because if the truth comes out, heads will roll.

The fastest way to destroy a nation without a shooting war is to suppress free speech, free thought, truly independent news and deem those who aren’t politically correct as threats to the nation.
