Ellen Rose Day

Ellen Rose Day, 65, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 at her home on Angel Island in Troy. She was born on Sept. 15, 1951 at Spokane, Wash. to George and Nancy Dodge. She grew up in the northwest part of the United States. She graduated from West Valley High School in Spokane in 1969.

Ellen married Gary Day in August of 1988 in Spokane. They moved to Troy in 1997. Ellen enjoyed painting, sewing, watching The Walking Dead, and riding a Harley Davidson. She was preceded in death by her husband Gary.

Survivors include her parents George and Doris Dodge, Spokane, Wash; siblings Kyle Dodge, Kevin Dodge, both of Spokane, sisters Janell Dodge, Troy; and Mistina Petitt, Spokane.
