Yaak murder update: Three search warrants executed in Idaho

Three search warrants have been filed regarding the suspected murder of Travis Gillett — whose body was found on Jan. 16 in the Yaak and deemed a homicide shortly after.

Warrants have been filed for a residence in Ponderay, Idaho, a vehicle in the same location and a search warrant for a vehicle in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

These locations were searched to gather evidence for the ongoing investigation.

Lincoln County Undersheriff Brandon Huff spoke with The Western News briefly on his way back from training. He didn’t have much information, but he was able to confirm that there were interviews done and search warrants executed.
