Kathryn Krueger

Our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Kathryn Lee Krueger, died Feb. 10, 2017 in Noxon, Mont. Born March 30, 1951 to Florence(Cis) and Ronald Nelson, she would later be adopted by Elroy Herrmann and became a child of a blended family of eight. She attended Whitefish Public Schools and graduated high school in 1970. She then attended cosmetology school in Spokane, Wash.

On Dec. 29, 1972, she married George Krueger and moved to Noxon, Mont. While there she worked in the accounting department at the ASARCO Troy mine. She then worked as an administrative assistant in the Avista Natural Resource Office in Noxon until her retirement in 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Cis Herrmann and brother Robert. She is survived by her husband George of Noxon, daughter Jennifer of Columbia Falls, Mont, son Jon and his wife Mandy of Noxon, granddaughter McKenna of Lacey, Wash, grandsons Tyler Bache of Three Forks, Mont, Ethen of Noxon, and Garrett of Columbia Falls, sisters Rhonda –Leroy Knudsvig of Whitefish, Cheryl Walsh of Kalispell, Janet-Dan Donahue of Whitefish, Suzie-Doug Dykeman of Kalispell and two brothers Lonnie-Carla Herrmann and Ken-Brenda Herrmann of Whitefish.

A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m. at the Noxon Public School multi-purpose room.
