Seeing that Thompson Falls was leading 13-12 in the first quarter, the Lady Loggers rallied and piled on 23 points in the second, entering the second half 35-18 and leading them to a 59-34 victory Tuesday night.

It seemed each time Thompson Falls got the ball, the Lady Loggers swiftly got it back in a series of rebounds and steals that stopped their opponents from scoring anything more than single digits in the following three quarters.

Shannon Reny’s superlative scoring ability led the team with 18 points and Jayden Winslow followed close behind with 15. Brooklyn Rainer contributed eight point for the team, Abby Ennenga chipped in six, Khalyn Hageness tallied five, Sammee Bradeen scored three and Abby Creighton and Allie Collins each added two.

The Lady Loggers will face off against the Eureka Lady Lions on Friday at home, before travelling to Polson on Saturday in a battle against the Lady Pirates.

The divisional seeding tournament will take place next week, on Feb. 24, 25 and 26 in Ronan.
