Dear residents of Swanson Lodge Road

This letter is to the concerned residents on Swanson Lodge Road; Shelly Warrick, Rainy Roth, Kim Flasche, Monica Carter and Rich Alvarado. While all of your concerns are valid, I have to ask if you have gone to meet Dan Silberman and his family? Have you tried to befriend them and get to know them?

I met Dan and his family at the Yaak Mercantile and they had just recently bought the lodge and were excited about the possibilities it offered and how beautiful the area was. The reality is, these people are not rich developers coming in to make a big buck, but they are two couples (with children), who have taken their hard earned, life savings and went out on a limb to buy the place because they just loved the area.

They seemed like down to earth, nice people and I liked them right away. To all of you, I would just like to suggest that you be optimistic and friendly and open your hearts to your new neighbors, and please, don’t hinder their chances of making their dreams come true.
