Ryggs Johnston sets course record of 61 at golf season opener in Whitefish

Wednesday was a great day for Libby Logger golfers. For a first day of the season, it was one of the best I can remember.
Ryggs Johnston was red hot and rolling it. He set a new course record at Whitefish with a 61.
Both the boys and girls teams took third place with all the conference teams in attendance.

I was very proud and pleased with all the kids. For a number of them it was their first 18-hole round.
All in all it was just great start to the season.
