NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER SALE NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE, KOOTENAI NATIONAL FOREST. The WILD RICE timber sale includes an estimated 72,304 TONS of Sawlog timber (equivalent to 24,153 CCF) and 4,833 TONS of Non-sawlog timber (equivalent to 1,832 CCF) marked or otherwise designated for cutting located within portions of Sections 6, 7 and 18, T26N, R33W; portions of Sections 1-14 and 22-26, T36N, R34W; Sanders County, State of Montana, PMM. This is a WEIGHT MEASUREMENT sale and all rates will be bid and paid for at a rate per TON. Sealed bids to be followed by oral auction will be opened in public at the Forest Supervisor's Office, Libby, Montana at 10:00 a.m., local time, on September 19, 2017. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved. This is a small business set-aside sale. If no self-certifying small business conern makes a valid bid, the Forest Service wil re-advertise this sale without restrictions on bidder size.
