The nursing staff at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center recently received the Hurst Gold Standard of Nursing Award.
The award “demonstrates the level of dedication and commitment to quality patient care that our patients, their families and the community can expect at Cabinet Peaks,” Chief Nursing Officer Anita Ivankovig states in a news release.
The award takes into consideration nurse communication, staff responsiveness, medication communication, pain management, discharge information and care transition. It is given to nursing staffs that achieve top-tier weighted scores.
