Foundation accepting grant applications

The Lincoln County Community Foundation is accepting grant applications for the annual granting process.

For an organization to be eligible for a grant they must be a 501c3 tax-exempt organization or tax-exempt governmental organization. To apply, visit mtcf.org, go to the “About” tab and then choose “Local Foundations.”

Applications must be submitted between Aug. 1 and Aug. 31, 2017, and mailed and postmarked no later than Aug. 31, 2017. They can be mailed to P.O. Box 490, Libby, MT 59923 to the attention of Distribution Committee.

Since 2000 the foundation has given over $150,000 to the charitable organizations of south Lincoln County. It accepts donations in any amount for the permanent endowment managed by the Montana Community Foundation. Certain tax advantages from Montana apply to individuals and corporations that contribute.
