FEC awards $19K to safety projects

Meeting in regular session April 13, Flathead Electric’s Roundup for Safety Board awarded $19,746 in grants to the following safety related community projects:

Kalispell Elks Lodge - $1,000 for Bike Helmets

Flathead 4-H Foundation - $1,200 for Safety Shirts

Kalispell Police (SRT) Department - $3,408 for Flame Resistant Uniforms

Kootenai Valley Christian School - $703 for Emergency Door Locks

Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation- $760 for Radios

Montana Kayak Association - $1,000 for Personal Protection Equipment

Western Montana Mental Health Clinic - $2,000 for Defibrillators

Flathead Area Mountain Bikers - $1,000 for Safety/First Aid Training

Whitefish Baseball - $1,500 for Fencing and Gates

Columbia Falls High School - $6,500 for Lighting and Poles

Kalispell Youth Softball - $675 for Protective Equipment
