Loggers shine against Eureka

EUREKA — Libby jumped on cross-county rivals Eureka early and didn’t let up in a Western B-C conference rout.

The Loggers scored three runs in the first inning and continued to score for the rest of the game, never scoring fewer than one run in five innings.

Libby’s Madisen Monigold was 3 for 5 with two doubles and three RBIs and Khalyn Hageness only gave up two hits to get the win in the circle. Haylee Cannon added a solo home run.

Ambryn Smith and Makennah Apeland each had a hit for Eureka.
