Sept. 21, midnight — Dispatch received a call from a woman reporting that her husband had assaulted her. The woman called again to advise there were no guns in the house and the husband was asleep on the couch. When officers responded to the scene, they found that the woman was struggling with dementia.
Sept. 21, 3 p.m. — A driver called to report a white van driving all over the road on U.S. Highway 2. The driver reportedly parked in the middle of the road and then continued to drive after the accused driver cussed at the caller.
Sept. 21, 5:30 p.m. — Dispatch received a call from a resident reporting that there had been ATV driver racing up and down the road at a high speed.
Sept. 21, 9 a.m. — Police responded to a third party report of a bicyclist laying on the ride side of the highway.
Sept. 22, 8:30 a.m. — A resident advised dispatch that a storage shed was broken into for the second time and some tools were stolen.
Sept. 22, 10:30 a.m. — Dispatch received a call of a break-in, but the resident called back to cancel as it was a family member and everything was OK.
Sept. 22, 11 a.m. — A family disturbance was reported when a caller told dispatch that a niece and boyfriend were making threats and coming to the residence.
Sept. 22, 11 a.m. — On U.S. Highway 2, a driver reported that another vehicle had just passed on a double yellow and almost caused an accident.
Sept. 22, noon — Two storage units were reportedly broken into on U.S. Highway 2 and MT Highway 56.
Sept. 22, 3:30 p.m. — A silver Dodge pickup was reportedly stolen. The vehicle was in storage and reportedly sold to the subject.
Sept. 23, 1:30 p.m. — A woman walked into dispatch to report that her father was received a scam phone call in the morning, saying that his granddaughter had been in trouble and he needed to send money.
Sept. 23, 2 p.m. — A Libby hotel employee reported finding a pistol left in a room.
Sept. 23, 8:30 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported on Fifth Street, when a resident told dispatch that he noticed a door open to a building.
Sept. 23, 9 p.m. — On Avondale, a resident called to report a suspicious person entering his yard with a flashlight. The person left on foot after he saw the caller.
Sept. 24, 10:30 a.m. — A theft was reported on Dakota Avenue when a resident walked in to report that someone stole a light bar off of a vehicle.
Sept. 24, noon — Dispatch received a call from an individual reporting that her brother, who had a stroke three weeks prior, had busted out a window of a vehicle and climbed in to go on a drive.
Sept. 24, 1 p.m. — A break-in and theft were reported at a storage unit.
Sept. 24, 3:30 p.m. — A IRS scam call was reported.
Sept. 24, 10 p.m. — Near MT Highway 37, a large white dog was reported running loose.
Sept. 25, 10 a.m. — On Granite Lake Road, a caller reported that his neighbor was in jail and nobody was feeding his animals.
Sept. 25, 10:30 a.m. — Workers at a nearby shelter reported that a belligerent man entered demanding a dog.
Sept. 25, noon — On Mineral Avenue, a man was reported walking up and down with feathers in his hair. The man took off his shoes and shirt.
Sept. 25, 1:30 p.m. — A driver with an out-of-state license plate was reported sitting across from a house for a long period of time with binoculars.25
