A 32-year-old Lincoln County man is being held on $100,000 bond after being arrested for his third partner family member assault.

Danny Attilio Luciano, of Eureka, was arrested on Aug. 31 after Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies received a report that he had beaten up his wife. Luciano has two prior PFMA convictions from 2007, according to court documents. His preliminary hearing has been set for 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 6.

Deputies received a call on Aug. 31 from a man who said Luciano’s wife was at his home with their four-year-old child, beaten up and fearing for her son’s safety. When Deputy Dan Holskey met Luciano’s wife at the man’s home, he reported she had a black left eye, and red marks and scratches on both sides of her neck, as well as severe cuts on her left elbow and both knees. According to Holskey’s report, the woman said Luciano had hit her while driving home the night before.

In the report, the woman told deputies that Luciano had grabbed her by the throat and choked her. She told Holskey that while choking her, Luciano said he was going to kill her.

About two hours later, Holskey spoke with Luciano, who told Holskey that he and his wife had been arguing but she had hurt herself.

Luciano is currently being held at Lincoln County jail on $100,000 bond.
