Edwin Alan Lindquist, 62, of Libby

Edwin Alan Lindquist, 62, of Libby, died on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016 at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby. He was born on July 7, 1954 at Oregon City, Ore. to Robert Alan and Anita (Thompson) Lindquist. He graduated from Molalla Union High School in 1972.

Ed had recently retired from Lincoln County after 15 years of service. He was always a very kind and generous man, always willing to help anyone in need. He had a special gift for working with wood and built many beautiful pieces.

His family and friends were all blessed to share a life with Ed and loved him very much. He is now in a better place. They always enjoyed the time they had together. Ed was a great dad and papa, and always enjoyed them all.

Always love who God has entrusted to you and remember that life can change in an instant.

Survivors include his wife Jatonna Freedom Lindquist; children Jonathon Lindquist; Leslie Williams, all of Libby; stepchildren Brandon, Matthew, Jeremy, Brian, Mandy; grandchildren Vergil Andrews (his little shadow); Dante Andrews (his buddy); Matthew Cooper (his button pusher); his brother Daniel Lindquist (Christine); a sister Terry Anne Goodell (Mark); maternal grandparents Alonzo and Marcella Thompson; Raymon and Irma Freeman; and paternal grandparents Edwin and Audrey Lindquist; and many aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews.
