Richard Bradshaw, 70, passed away peacefully on Oct. 6, 2016 after a long battle of cancer.

Dick traveled the country for a few years after the Navy, and then he went back to Montana and was a logger. He later moved to Spokane where he worked as a cement finisher and a contractor for many years.

He is survived by his three children, Jennifer (Brandon) Underwood; Timothy (Ashley) Bradshaw; and Thomas Bradshaw, all of Spokane; his grandchildren, Alexis and Jakob Underwood of Spokane, and his lifelong friend, Sandra Bradshaw of Spokane; Ronald (Mary) Bradshaw of Libby; Barbara Blackburn of Fort Myers, Fla.; Terry (Debbie) Bradshaw of Spokane; Betty (Dennis) of Troy; Tom Bradshaw of Anchorage, Alaska; Donna (Rob) Passmore of Spokane, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dick loved to fish, golf, play cards, read books and loved to sit around and tell old stories.

Dick will be missed by his family and friends.

A sincere “thank you” to Horizon Hospice of Spokane.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m. at the Troy Church of God, 212 Kalispell Ave., Troy, with Gene Bushnell presiding. A reception will be held immediately following at Bill Winslow’s. Thank you so much Bill!

Our Dad:

“God looked around his garden and saw an empty space.

He then looked down from heaven and saw his tired face.

He put his arms around him and put him in his care to make up for all he suffered.

He wanted him up there.

It broke our hearts to see him go, but he didn’t go alone, for part of us went with him, the day God called him Home.”

We love you Daddy!
