Oct. 11, noon — A father called to report that his teenaged daughter was staying with her grandmother in Libby and was not attending school. When he was on the phone with her, she sounded like she was under the influence of medications.
Oct. 11, 1:30 p.m. — A resident called to report that their horse was on the loose in their yard.
Oct. 11, 3 p.m. — A woman walked into the dispatch lobby to report that she had been assaulted 30 minutes prior within city limits.
Oct. 11, 3 p.m. — A driver called to report that their car had struck a deer.
Oct. 11, 5:30 p.m. — Multiple calls came into dispatch when horses were reported on the loose on Montana 37.
Oct. 11, 5:30 p.m. — A resident on Reserve Road called to report a dead bear on the side of their driveway.
Oct. 11, 7 p.m. — Dispatch received a call of three cell phones stolen from a home after a visitor had left.
Oct. 11, 10 p.m. — A caller told dispatch that he had heard a large caliber gunshot in the area of their residence.
Oct. 12, 7 a.m. — A driver on U.S. Highway 2 called to report that they had hit a deer and their airbags deployed.
Oct. 12, 9:30 a.m. — A city worker reported to dispatch that a local cemetery had been vandalised.
Oct. 12, 3 p.m. — An employee at a local store reported that they had received a counterfeit bill.
Oct. 12, 8 p.m. — On Montana 56, reports came in of a vehicle with no plate driving “erratically.”
